SUPER SPECIALIST SEMINAR

On 7th Feb 2026, Pioneer Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital successfully organized a Super Specialist Seminar on the topic “Interventional Radiology in Pin Hole Surgery.” The seminar was delivered by Dr. Raj Soni, Consultant Endovascular Interventional Radiologist, who shared his vast clinical experience and expertise with students of 4th BHMS, Interns and faculty members.

Dr. Raj Soni explained the concept of interventional radiology as a modern, minimally invasive technique where diseases are diagnosed and treated using image guidance such as X-ray, CT scan, and ultrasound through very small incisions (pin-hole surgery). He highlighted its growing role in managing vascular disorders, tumors, liver diseases, and emergency conditions with reduced risk, minimal pain, and faster recovery compared to conventional surgery.

The session emphasized the advantages of interventional radiology, including shorter hospital stay, fewer complications, and improved patient outcomes. Real-life case presentations and visual demonstrations made the topic more engaging and easy to understand for the audience.
