“WORLD TUBERCULOSIS DAY-2026”

On the occasion of World TB Day, a community-based survey was conducted in Rawal Village on 24/03/2026.

A house-to-house survey was carried out using a pre-designed questionnaire to assess awareness and identify suspected TB cases. Individuals with symptoms suggestive of TB were identified and referred to the nearest health facility.

Villagers were informed about the airborne transmission of TB, importance of cough hygiene, early diagnosis, and strict adherence to treatment.

We sincerely thank the village authorities for their cooperation and support.

With combined action from healthcare workers, government programs, and the community, achieving a TB-free society is possible.

Community Medicine conducted TB Screening Survey at Rawal Village on 24/03/2026.Survey conducted by team of Interns, 4th BHMS students, 3rd BHMS students.
Total 196 people were screened.

“Yes! We Can End TB – Together, We Can Beat TB.”
