Medical Talk by Zydus Hospital Specialists

Pioneer Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, under the Department of Practice of Medicine, organized an informative medical seminar on 18th July 2026 at the AV Hall from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM. The seminar featured eminent specialists from Zydus Hospital who shared their expertise on important health issues.

The first session was delivered by Dr. Archit Joshi, Senior Consultant in Medical Oncology, on the topic “Cancer Awareness & Screening.” He emphasized the importance of early detection, regular health check-ups, cancer prevention strategies, and the role of screening in improving treatment outcomes.

The second session was conducted by Dr. Neel Thakkar, Consultant in Pulmonary Medicine, on “Approach to Persistent Cough & Breathlessness.” He discussed the common causes, diagnostic approach, warning signs, and management of persistent respiratory symptoms, highlighting the importance of timely medical consultation.

The seminar was attended by faculty members, interns, and undergraduate students, who actively participated in the interactive discussions and gained valuable clinical knowledge from the experts. The program enhanced awareness about cancer prevention and respiratory health while strengthening the academic collaboration between Pioneer Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital and Zydus Hospital.
